How to Protect Google Chrome with Password?


If you are a regular internet user mostly accessing the web from home, you must be having a significant number of passwords saved on your browser for quick access to your online accounts. By saving your passwords, the browser automatically fills in the password field during the login process. Usually, you can save multiple passwords on your browser, each corresponding to a specific website.

ChromePW:


ChromePW is a password protection for Chrome.
You probably don't want that someone is using your browser without your permission. By using ChromePW an unauthorized user is refused to access the internet, saved passwords, browser history, autofill and other internet data.
once you have set a password in the settings of ChromePW, it will be stored encrypted. When you start Google Chrome the password prompt will appear. If a user tries to bypass the password prompt, Google Chrome will be closed. So ChromePW provides a save password protection for your browser. If you have forgotten your password you can display password hint.

How to setup ChromePW to Chrome:
1. You need to download ChromePW from the given link  



2. After installing it shows a message which means extension installed successfully, before using it you need to do some configurations. Click on Ok button to continue extension setup.

3. Click on Add.

4. The extension has been successfully installed

5. Allow ChromePW in incognito

6. After that click on Next button and you will see extension security settings. It have 4 widgets and each one have some sort of settings.

7. First type password which is not easy to guessed by others and again type the same password, type password hint which will be useful in case of forgetting password. And click on save.


8. You must enable security mode because it protects chromepw extension being terminated by task manager. If anyone try to open another program while chrome browser locked it will automatically closed.
